Maurice Taylor Jr.
Maurice (Moe) Taylor Jr. officially became the owner of F.A.M. Fitness August 22, 2024. Before specializing in personal training, Moe got certified at the American Academy of Personal Training (AAPT) located in Boston, MA.
Moe’s journey to become a personal trainer transpired after his experience as an 8th grade writing teacher in Chelsea, MA. As a teacher, Moe honed in on students’ creativity and encouraged them to step out of their comfort zone within the realm of writing. He enjoyed his work as a teacher and being able to engage students of all different backgrounds.
Moe discovered his ability to engage a diverse group of individuals in his previous career as a professional basketball player. from 2018 - 2023, Moe played on teams in Czech Republic, El Salvador, and the United States. As a professional athlete, mental and physical fitness has always been a priority for moe. His background allows him to create tailored training programs that reflect real-world competition.
Moe played collegiate basketball and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Niagara University and an A.A. in Sociology from Western Texas College.
He uses his experiences and knowledge of the mind, body, energy, and community to help others see the value in themselves. He strives to help others recognize and embrace their inherent worth by creating a supportive environment that fosters self-discovery and growth. Moe combines his passion for sports and performance to empower clients in achieving their personal fitness goal through fitness and/or basketball skill development services.
